  1.                                             Roll Credits New Button Action

  4. This New Button Action allows you to automatically scroll 
  5. a text field. One obvious use  for this would be to scroll
  6. through a list of credits much like at the end of a motion 
  7. picture.
  8.  
  9. The options for the New Button Action are:
  10.  
  11. Name: Enter the name of the field to scroll. You can give
  12.                     a field a name by selecting a field and choosing
  13.                     'Field Info‚Ķ' from the Objects menu. 
  14.  
  15. Number of steps:    Enter the number of scroll steps the field 
  16.                                                         should perform. Enter zero to scroll 
  17.                                                         to the very end of the field.
  18.  
  19. Speed:    Enter then number of scroll steps that should occur
  20.                         in a second. Use the 'Test Speed' button to get a
  21.                         feel for the various speeds.
  22.  
  23. Scroll lines: Choosing this option will cause the scroll
  24.                                         to occur one text line at a time, regardless
  25.                                         of the font size. 
  26.  
  27. Scroll pixels: Choosing this option will cause the field to
  28.                                             scroll the specified number of pixels
  29.                                             each step. Use this option for finer control
  30.                                             over the scrolling.
  31.  
  32. # of pixels:    Enter the number of pixels the field should
  33.                                         scroll each step. A value of 1 or 2 will give
  34.                                         smooth scrolling for an average size font.
  35.                                         Other values might be used to scroll large
  36.                                         fonts at something other than a line at a
  37.                                         time. (A pixel is a dot on the screen, there 
  38.                                         are 12 pixels from the bottom to top of the
  39.                                         character  A)
